As part of the new Crisis and Resilience Fund, launched by the Government from April 2026, dedicated assistance is available for low-income households who rely on heating oil or LPG and are at risk of running out due to increased costs.

Warwickshire
Warwickshire County Council has funding available to support households whose heating is fuelled by oil or LPG with financial support for those who are struggling to pay for their oil or LPG. To qualify for help, you must meet the scheme criteria details below.
If you have already received a payment through this scheme previously, you are not eligible to reapply and your application will be declined.
Please read all the below sections before applying so that we can assess and process your application as quickly as possible.
Residents may qualify if all apply:
Please see the evidence section below for the evidence required in support of your application.
*Exceptions to qualifying criteria 3 and 5 may be made at the discretion of Act on Energy, in cases of extenuating circumstances. Examples of extenuating circumstances may include;
A one-off payment for financial support with your oil or LPG payments. This will be in the amount of £300, paid directly to your oil or LPG provider.

Multiple or repeat applications from the same household will not be accepted.
We will run additional checks to confirm that your home is heated by Oil/LPG.
We require evidence of your income, your oil or LPG account and, if you are applying due to extenuating circumstances as mentioned in our “Who Can Apply” section, we will require evidence that your household is experiencing one of these circumstances.
For evidence of your income, we will need the following:
If you are in receipt of a means-tested benefit such as Universal Credit, you must provide us with a copy of your most recent full benefit statement.

If you do not receive a means-tested benefit, you must send us your most recent full three months’ worth of bank statements for all bank accounts you own, including savings accounts, for all adults present in your household.
