Held at St Martin's Church in the Bullring, the venue is easy to reach by public transport and sits beside the large multi-storey car park and iconic market.

Whether you're looking for practical advice, family activities, health support, opportunities to connect with your community, or simply a welcoming place to spend the day, Into the Warmth has something for everyone.

Meet more than 25 local charities, community organisations and support services offering free advice and information on topics including energy, health, wellbeing, finances, food support, employment, volunteering, community activities and much more.

Alongside expert support, families can get creative in our exciting giant cardboard construction challenge - a great half-term activity, while adults and older young people can attend a special screening and discussion exploring the future challenges and opportunities facing Birmingham communities.

EVENT SCHEDULE AND HIGHLIGHTS

* 11:00 am - Doors open - Explore a wide range of support services and community organisations all under one roof. Friendly advisers will be available throughout the day to offer guidance, answer questions and help connect you with local support.

* 11:00 am - 15:00 pm Free Health Checks - Drop in for a free health check and speak with trained professionals about your health and wellbeing.

* 11:00 am - 15:00 pm - Family Activity Zone, Help build an imaginative eco-future village using recycled and reclaimed materials. Families can work together to create cardboard shops, wearable vehicles and other exciting structures.

There will also be smaller activities to enjoy and take home, including creating your own t-shirt tote bag.

Perfect for children, parents, grandparents and anyone who enjoys getting creative.

* 14:00 pm - 16:00pm Special Screening: The People's Emergency Briefing (16+)

This thought-provoking film explores information presented by climate experts about the potential impacts of climate change on life in the UK.

The screening is not about telling people what to think. Instead, it aims to provide accessible information, encourage discussion and create space for people to explore the challenges ahead and the opportunities available to respond.

Following the film, there will be a facilitated discussion exploring what these issues could mean for Birmingham and highlighting the positive work already taking place locally to support communities and build resilience.
