Financial help towards energy bills.

Stratford-on-Avon District Council has funding available to support vulnerable households with financial support for those who are struggling to pay for their energy. To qualify for help, you need to meet the scheme criteria details below.
If you have already received a payment from either the Stratford Heating & Energy Bill support scheme or the Stratford Energy Support Fund in the last 6 months, you are not eligible to reapply, and your application will be declined.
To be eligible, households must meet the income and vulnerability criteria outlined below:
1. Gross household income of below £31,000 (not including PIP or DLA),
AND
2. No household savings
AND
3. A vulnerability as detailed in the section below.
You will be required to provide evidence of your vulnerability & a copy of a recent energy bill, both dated within the last 3 months. If you would like clarification on acceptable evidence, please call us on 0800 988 2881, or email sesf@actonenergy.org.uk
Applicants must also confirm and provide evidence thatsomeone in the home has one of the following vulnerabilities:
A one-off payment for financial support with energy costs. The amount received will be determined by your household composition:
You will be required to provide supporting evidence of your vulnerability and a copy of a recent energy bill.

All applications are processed on a first come, first served basis.
Payment will not be made without acceptable proof of vulnerability evidence and an energy bill being provided.
