We offer a wide range of services from free, impartial energy advice to help with applying for grants and funding for energy efficiency measures.

General Energy Advice

Whether you’re struggling with paying higher energy bills or simply want advice on the best energy efficiency for your home – we’re here to help with our freephone energy advice line. We may be able to access funding streams to help with your energy bills and debt as well as energy efficiency grants to keep your home warmer and the bills down. We’ve even got specialist community outreach officers who may be able to help with one-to-one home visits and install a range of small measures.

Our work with Local Authorities

We work with all the Local Authorities across the wider West Midlands including all those within the West Midlands Combined Authority and the whole of Worcestershire and Warwickshire. We support people in those areas with all their energy advice needs – whether it’s help with paying bills or wanting advice on the best type of energy efficiency for their home. We also support the Local Authorities with delivering their grant funded energy efficiency schemes designed to help low income and vulnerable people live in warmer and healthier homes, as well as helping to keep energy bills down.  

Signposting

Help with general energy advice, bills and energy efficiency is just part of the work we do. If you are struggling with your energy bill, or living in a cold and damp home, it’s likely that we can signpost you to other types of support. We work with a range of other charities and agencies who can help with measures from debt and welfare support right through to disability grants and food bank referrals.

Retrofit

Retrofitting our homes to make them more energy efficient is critical when it comes to reducing our carbon footprint and lowering our energy bills. We have level 3 retrofit advisors who can help with a range of queries - and depending on where you live and your ability to self-invest, can even offer a free retrofit detailed advice call.
