Part-Funded Retrofit Training

Part-Funded Retrofit Training

Act on Energy has partnered with Synergy Training Centre to help inspire the next generation of retrofit and energy efficiency professionals. The world of energy efficiency is rapidly changing with new technologies, challenges and adaptions, and it’s becoming increasingly prevalent in everyday lives.

If recent challenges in insulation, as well as the ongoing energy crisis, have taught us anything, it’s that we need more people in the workforce with credible training and understanding of retrofit in order to support residents and organisations build a more sustainable community, aligning with net-zero goals, in a safe and reliable manner.

Synergy Training Centre have been awarded funding from the UK Government, through Midlands Net Zero Hub, to allow them to offer certain courses at a discounted rate. There are limited partially funded places available, so enquiring soon is recommended, although courses are also available for non-funded spaces. These courses are for people who already have a basic understanding or interest in energy efficiency and are looking to further develop their skills and understanding to allow them to enter the workforce in this sector.

For people who are unsure if a career in energy efficiency and retrofit is for them, Act on Energy have a few courses suited to beginners that are available to organisations who are interesting in up-skilling their staff. If you have a team of individuals who would like to gain some insight into some key parts of the energy sector, then we offer a range of courses which can help prepare learners for more complex courses, and help them decide whether their passion lies in retrofit.

Who are Synergy?

Synergy Training Centre have decades of retrofit experience through their qualified assessors.
