We have been nominated for an award!

If you thought it was time to roll away the red carpet last week with the Oscars you were wrong, because we are making a late entry this awards season! Act on Energy has been nominated for the 2018 Regional Vulnerable Customer Support Campaigner of the Year Award at this year's West Midlands Regional Energy Efficiency Awards. This is to recognise an organisation who 'has shown true commitment to improving the lives of vulnerable people through energy efficiency in their region.'We are competing against three other worthy challengers but with our experience of front-line work in the community providing funding support for heating system installations for vulnerable people, assisting residents with price comparisons for energy bills and educating communities about the importance of reducing fuel poverty in our country, means we believe a win for Act on Energy would be an important statement in recognising the importance of our work.The finals take place on Thursday 22nd of March.
