The use of renewable energy to heat your home is now becoming established as an effective way of saving energy and money. It is important to remember that before considering heating your home through a renewable energy source, you should fully insulate and draught proof your home first.

The most common forms of renewable technologies which can be installed in the home are as follows:

Solar Panels:

For heating rooms and radiators from a central source throughout the house

Ground /Air Source Heating:
Heat is generated from the ground or air to heat or cool the home. This solutions works best with underfloor heating solutions

Sustainably sourced wood pellets which can be used in burners and stoves

  • See if you are eligible for any government grants for your project
  • Ensure you undertake a full assessment of your home's suitability for the system you want to install
