Free Monthly Energy Advice Surgeries being held throughout Warwickshire and Worcestershire

We are holding a series of energy advice surgeries in conjunction with local councils, to help people take control of their heating and energy use in order to reduce their bills and stay warm.

Advice surgeries are being held in the following local authorities: Warwick, Stratford, Rugby, Worcester, Redditch, Wyre Forest, Wychavon, Malvern, Bromsgrove.

WarmerWorcestershire

Follow-up to the ‘Dying to be Warm’ - Excess Winter Deaths and Fuel Poverty Summit held in Worcestershire on 15th April 2010

On 15th April 2010, Act on Energy held a conference on behalf of the Public Health Department of NHS Worcestershire to address the issue of excess winter deaths and fuel poverty.

The summit was held in County Hall, Worcester and was well attended by representatives from NHS, Local Authorities, and other key partners across the County.

A follow up meeting of the Home Energy Group will be held at 2pm on 6th July at County Hall in Worcester.
